This sudden blast of blistering hot weather is revolting. As much as I love the beach, I relish cold weather. At about 2.30 yesterday my car showed that it was 38 degrees. The kids were hot and tired when I picked them up and I felt sorry for them to be in sticky uniforms.

I thought that these cute little cocktails might take the edge off this hot weather.
